Daniel Eberlin
Daniel Eberlin (4 December 1647 – c. 1715) was a German Baroque composer and Kapellmeister. Eberlin had a vagrant lifestyle. After a brief military career (he allegedly served as an officer in the papal army), he worked as a librarian in his hometown, Nuremberg. Later he became Kapellmeister at the Eisenach court. From 1713 he lived at Kassel, where he died. Eberlin wrote cantatas for church services and a set of trio sonatas. However, only few of his works are preserved. One of his pupils was Georg von Bertouch, a German-born composer and officer who dwelt during most of his adult life in Norway. Eberlin was married and had eight children. His daughter Amalia Louise Juliane was the first wife of composer Georg Philipp Telemann. Johann Eberlin von Günzburg ( – 1533) was a German theologian and reformer who became prominent as the author of reformist flysheets and pamphlets. Life Eberlin was born in in Kleinkötz in Bavaria. He studied theology in Ingolstadt and qualified in 1490 in Basel as Master of Arts. In Heilbronn he joined the Franciscan Order. From 1493 he was in Freiburg im Breisgau, from 1519 in Tübingen, where he was active as a preacher, and from 1521 in Ulm. Here he left the order and joined the Reformation movement. Eberlin was married in 1524, he had 4 children. He studied in 1522 with Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchthon in Wittenberg and from 1523 worked in Basel and Rheinfelden. In 1524 he became a preacher in Erfurt and in 1525, spiritual adviser to Count Georg II von Wertheim. Johann Ernst Eberlin
Johann Ernst Eberlin (27 March 1702 – 19 June 1762) was a German composer and organist whose works bridge the baroque and classical eras. He was a prolific composer, chiefly of church organ and choral music. Marpurg claims he wrote as much and as rapidly as Alessandro Scarlatti and Georg Philipp Telemann, a claim also repeated by Leopold Mozart - though ultimately Eberlin did not live nearly as long as either of those two composers. Biography Eberlin's first musical training began in 1712 at the Jesuit Gymnasium of St. Salvator in Augsburg. His teachers there were Georg Egger and Balthasar Siberer, who taught him how to play the organ. Marcos Nogueira Eberlin (born 4 March 1959) is a Brazilian chemist and former professor at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of Campinas. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and received the Brazilian National Order of Scientific Merit in 2005 and the Thomson Medal in 2016. Eberlin discovered the Eberlin Reaction during his work on gas phase ion chemistry, and he and his research group introduced EASI (Easy Ambient Sonic-spray Ionization), an ionization technique used in mass spectrometry. Eberlin is an advocate of intelligent design in Brazil, on which he also lectures and he has signed the Dissent From Darwinism statement. William Frederick Eberlein (June 25, 1917, Shawano, Wisconsin – 1986, Rochester, New York) was an American mathematician, specializing in mathematical analysis and mathematical physics.
