Eat Me In St. Louis
''Eat Me in St. Louis'' is the third album by British progressive rock, progressive Pop music, pop/Rock music, rock band It Bites. The album title was also reused for a compilation album by the band, aimed at the US market. The original ''Eat Me in St Louis'' ''Eat Me in St. Louis'' saw It Bites move away from the progressive rock and pop influences of their two previous albums and towards a more hard rock sound with more straightforward compositions and a heavier, rawer sound. The album was recorded in Munich and produced by Reinhold Mack, best known for his work with Queen (band), Queen. The band enlisted Roger Dean (artist), Roger Dean (the record sleeve artist famous for his fantasy-based cover art on Yes (band), Yes albums) to produce the artwork for ''Eat Me in St. Louis''. , established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. John Beck (It Bites)
John Beck is an English musician and songwriter, best known for his role as a member of progressive rock/pop fusion band It Bites (who scored a number 6 hit in the UK singles chart in 1986 with ' Calling All the Heroes'). Beck is a multi-instrumentalist, playing keyboards, accordion, guitar, bass guitar and drums: he is also a singer (mainly of harmony vocals). Onstage and on record he almost entirely restricts himself to keyboards and vocals (although he has been known to play live rhythm guitar on performances of It Bites' 'Still Too Young to Remember'). Born and brought up in Whitehaven, Cumbria, Beck spent his early teen years as a country-and-western accordionist on the Cumbrian club circuit before becoming a founder member of It Bites alongside guitarist and lead vocalist Francis Dunnery, bass guitarist Dick Nolan and drummer Bob Dalton. John Mitchell (born 21 June 1973) is a musician and record producer. He primarily plays guitar and has been a member of the bands It Bites, Arena, Frost*, Kino, A, The Urbane and Lonely Robot. Early life and career Mitchell describes seeing Eric Clapton perform the song "Miss You" from his 1986 album ''August'' at a Prince's Trust concert as 'the single defining moment that made me decide to put down the violin and pick up a guitar'. Francis Dunnery (born 25 December 1962) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, record producer and record label owner. Dunnery was the lead singer and guitarist for British prog- pop band It Bites between 1982 and 1990. Since 1990 he has pursued a solo career, and has owned and run his own record label, Aquarian Nation, since 2001. He has collaborated with artists including Robert Plant, Ian Brown, Lauryn Hill, Santana and Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe and as a producer and/or collaborator with David Sancious, Chris Difford (of ''Squeeze''), James Sonefeld (Hootie and the Blowfish), Erin Moran, Steven Harris (ex-The Cult, Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction), and Ashley Reaks (Younger Younger 28s).
