Eastwood High School (Texas)
Eastwood High School is a public high school in the Ysleta Independent School District the city of El Paso, Texas, United States. History Eastwood High School, "Home of El Paso's Finest," is located in the city of El Paso, Texas. Eastwood opened in the Fall of 1961 and had its first graduating senior class in 1965. Today Eastwood High School has 400+ graduates annually. The school is in the Ysleta Independent School District. In 1976, Eastwood High School Troopers won the Class 4A (now 6A) State Championship in basketball as the underdog of the state tourney, as of 2015 the feat has yet to be repeated by any other El Paso basketball team. The famed Trooper mascot is based on the Union Cavalry Soldiers during the American Civil War. Both the school and the cavalry units share the blue and gold color scheme. Eastwood High School, Newton Mearns
Eastwood High School is a comprehensive, non-denominational school located centrally in East Renfrewshire to the south of Glasgow, Scotland. It is one of the successor schools to Eastwood Senior Secondary School which opened in 1936 in Clarkston, Glasgow. The head teacher is Kate Sinclair. Eastwood High School is situated on Capelrig Road and has a large suburban, and partly rural, catchment area. It stands in the grounds of Capelrig House constructed in 1769, which is a Category A building listed as being of architectural and historical importance. The school serves the immediate area of Newton Mearns and the villages of Neilston and Uplawmoor. Eastwood High School's cluster primary schools are Crookfur, Mearns, Neilston and Uplawmoor. Eastwood High School is a public high school located in Troy Township, in between the villages of Pemberville and Luckey in the U.S. State of Ohio. It is the only high school in the Eastwood Local School District, which covers parts of eastern Wood County, and holds grades nine through twelve. The school colors are red, white, and Columbia blue and it competes in the Northern Buckeye Conference for athletics. Eastwood is affiliated with the Penta Career Center. Library The high school library is available for use of the students before school and in Academic Assist. It may also be used during a class with permission from a teacher. Eastwood Collegiate Institute is a public high school located at 760 Weber Street East in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It was established in 1956. The school teams are known as the "Lions ". Eastwood is known for its Provincially ranked soccer teams, as well as its Integrated Arts Program. Its motto is ''Ex Oriente Lux''.
