Eastover (Manalapan, Florida)
Eastover is a historic site in Manalapan, Florida. It is located at 1100 South Ocean Boulevard. On December 23, 2002, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. History The property was built for Harold Stirling Vanderbilt and his wife, Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt, in 1930. It was designed by Swiss architect Maurice Fatio.Treanor 1932. It is currently a private, single-family residence. A portion of the home has been demolished and the land has been subdivided. The home had approximately of ocean and intracoastal frontage, but now it has been reduced to . The estate has more than of direct oceanfront land (according to tax records). The estate also includes a detached guest house, built in the mid-1990s.It is famous among locals for its 40 toilets. In 2000, Randolph Apperson Hearst, a son of William Randolph Hearst, bought Eastover from film producer and shopping mall magnate Melvin Simon Melvin Simon (October 21, 1926 – September 16, 2009)

Eastover, North Carolina
Eastover is a town in Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 3,628 at the 2010 census. It was incorporated on July 25, 2007. History The Robert Williams House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Geography Eastover is located northeast of the center of Cumberland County at (35.095278, -78.786556). It is northeast of downtown Fayetteville. U.S. Route 301 passes through the center of the town as Dunn Road. Interstate 95 runs parallel to US 301 on the east side of town, with access from Exits 55, 56, and 58. I-95 leads northeast to the Rocky Mount area and southwest to Florence, South Carolina. Interstate 295 leaves I-95 at Exit 58 and heads west as a northern bypass of Fayetteville, while the southern terminus of U.S. Route 13 is also at Exit 58, with the highway leading northeast to Goldsboro. Eastover (Salisbury, North Carolina)
Eastover is a historic estate located at Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina. The mansion was designed by architect Louis H. Asbury (1877-1975) in 1934, and built between 1935 and 1936. It is a -story, Tudor Revival style brick dwelling with decorative half-timbering with stucco fields and a dull red terra cotta tile roof. Other contributing resources are the estate grounds, entrance gate (c. 1935), and one-story frame American Craftsman-style well-house.
