Eastbourne Town Football Club is an English football club based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, and are currently members of the and play at The Saffrons. Founded on 19 October 1881 as Devonshire Park F.C., they are founding members of the Sussex County F.A. in 1882, Southern Amateur Football League in 1907 and the Sussex County Football League in 1920. The club is considered the oldest senior football club in Sussex. The club is a FA Chartered Standard Community club affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association. Ardingly College () is an independent boarding and day school in the English public school tradition located near Ardingly, West Sussex, England. The school is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference and of the Woodard Corporation of independent schools and as such has a strong Anglo-Catholic tradition. Racing Club de Roubaix was a French association football team that played in Roubaix, Nord. History The team was founded in 1895 and was very successful before the establishment of professionalism in France. In 1933, after losing twice in a row in the final of Coupe de France, this time against city rival Excelsior AC Roubaix (a professional team), the team turned professional and reached Division 1 in 1936 and stayed there till World War II. After the war, the club merged with Excelsior AC Roubaix and US Tourcoing in CO Roubaix-Tourcoing (1945–1963). In 1963, CO Roubaix-Tourcoing lost its professional status and RC Roubaix decided to merge with another club, Stade Roubaix, to create Racing Stade Roubaisien. The Challenge international du Nord (Northern International Challenge) was an annual football tournament featuring clubs from Northern France and Belgium as they could not play in the French Championship. Later teams from Switzerland, Netherlands and England were invited to play. It was hosted in the Lille area (Roubaix, Tourcoing and Lille) between 1898 and 1914 in different formats.
