East Klang Valley Expressway
The East Klang Valley Expressway, EKVE or Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road (KLORR) is a new expressway under construction in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The expressway will connect Ukay Perdana in Ampang, Selangor and Bandar Sungai Long in Kajang. This expressway is part of the Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road (KLORR). The construction of the expressway was started on 1 September 2015. Once completed, the expressway will benefit 140,000 motorists per day. The phase 1 of the expressway stretches 24.1 km and costs MYR 1.55 billion. Route background The expressways for phase 1 starts from Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 in Ukay Perdana (north), Ulu Klang, via Ampang, Hulu Langat, Bandar Mahkota Cheras ending at Kajang Dispersal Link in Sungai Long (south). Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2
Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2 or Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 Scheme), Federal Route 28, is a ring road built by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) to connect neighborhoods near the boundary of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Altogether, the of the entire system consists of Federal Route 28, Damansara–Puchong Expressway (from Sri Damansara Interchange to Sunway Interchange) and Shah Alam Expressway (from Sunway Interchange to Sri Petaling Interchange). However, the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 is generally referred to as Route 28 since Route 28 occupies about two-thirds of the system. Seremban
Seremban (Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Soghomban'', ''Somban''; Jawi: ) is a city in the Seremban District and the capital of the state of Negeri Sembilan in Peninsular Malaysia. Teluk Intan is a town in Hilir Perak District, Perak, Malaysia. It is the district capital and largest town in Hilir Perak district and fourth largest town in the state of Perak with an estimated population of around 172,505, more than half of Hilir Perak district's total population (232,900). Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway
The Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway is a interstate controlled-access highway in Peninsular Malaysia. It runs between the town of Gombak in Selangor to the southwest and Karak in Pahang to the northeast. The Klang Gates Quartz Ridge ( ms, Permatang Kuartza Genting Klang) is a quartz dyke that runs through northeast of Kuala Lumpur and the state of Selangor, Malaysia within Bukit Lagong-Kanching-Klang Gates region. 2021–2022 Malaysian Floods
On 16 December 2021, a tropical depression made landfall on the eastern coast of Peninsular Malaysia, bringing torrential downpours throughout the peninsula for three days.
