East Clubbers
The East Clubbers were a dance group from Poland, composed of Piotr Kwiatkowski (DJ Silver) and Piotr Wachnicki (DJ Sqren). The duo also worked with another Polish producer, Janardana. East Clubbers has many international hits, particularly in Europe, such as "Walk Alone", "Beat is Coming" and "Crazy Right Now". History The members of the East Clubbers have worked over eight years in the dance music field. They have previously been involved in other projects, such as Clubringer, DPM, Trinity and Janardana. The group has been together since 2002. Career The group co-operates with Kate Lesing, who sings most of their songs. East Clubbers aim to popularize Polish dance music internationally. Hard trance is a subgenre of trance music which originated in Western Europe (Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands) in the early 1990s as the Breakbeat hardcore production community began to diversify into new and different styles of electronic music, all influenced by Hard house, New beat, Happy hardcore and Jungle music. The popularity of hard trance peaked during the late 1990s and has since then faded in scope of newer forms of trance. Hard trance is often characterized by strong, hard (or even downpitch) kicks, fully resonant basses and an increased amount of reverberation applied to the main beat. Melodies vary from 140 to 180 BPMs and it can feature plain instrumental sound in early compositions, with the latter ones tending to implement side-chaining techniques of progressive on digital synthesizers. The ''russefeiring'' ( en, "russ celebration") is a traditional celebration for Norwegian high school pupils in their final spring semester. Pupils that take part in the celebrations are known as russ. Students in high school normally prepare for this celebration from the start of the year. Russ celebrations normally happen before the final term exam for the high school students before they are off to university or college. Russ have different ways off celebrating this very day, some people purchase big buses with more than 20 people partying all night and some other people go for the more cheaper or more idle version like buying a van or a car.
