Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) ( ur, ) is an independent, autonomous, and federal institution of Pakistan tasked and responsible for the operational planning, coordinating, monitoring, and regulating the reconstruction and rehabilitation operations in the earthquake affected areas of the country. Codified under thArticle 89(1)by the Constitution of Pakistan, the institute is chaired by the appointed and designated Chairman who directly reports to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. As of present, the institution is currently chaired by Lt Gen Akhtar Nawaz as its appointed and designated Chairman. The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA; Māori: ''Te Mana Haumanu ki Waitaha'') was the public service department of New Zealand charged with coordinating the rebuild of Christchurch and the surrounding areas following the 22 February 2011 earthquake. After it was disestablished on 18 April 2016, CERA's functions were taken over by a variety of other agencies.
