Earthanasia
"Earthanasia" is an episode of the British comedy television series ''The Goodies''. It was written by The Goodies, with songs and music by Bill Oddie. Kitten Kong
"Kitten Kong" is an episode of the British comedy television series ''The Goodies'', written by The Goodies, with songs and music by Bill Oddie. Plot Bill is cooking when Graeme and Tim return from chess championships. Graeme and Tim are hungry, and want their dinner — however, there is only soggy lettuce and potato peel to eat because Bill has fed their normal food (and wine) to "Bunter", a guinea pig, with dessert to follow. When Bill explains to Tim and Graeme that he is being paid £30 to look after the guinea pig, the thought of being able to get some extra money leads to the Goodies setting up the office as the "Goodies Animal Clinic" for "loony animals". ''The Goodies'' is a British television comedy series shown in the 1970s and early 1980s. The series, which combines Surrealism, surreal Sketch comedy, sketches and situation comedy, was broadcast by the BBC, initially on BBC2 but soon repeated on BBC1, from 1970 to 1980. One seven-episode series was made for ITV (TV network), ITV company London Weekend Television, LWT and shown in 1981–82. The show was co-written by and starred Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie (together known as "The Goodies"). "Goodies and Politics" is the first episode of the eighth series of the British television comedy series ''The Goodies''. The 64th episode of the show overall, it was first broadcast at 8.10pm on BBC2. This episode is also known as "Politics" and "Timita". Written by The Goodies, with songs and music by Bill Oddie. Plot The British prime minister has discovered a loophole in tax laws and retired to the Bahamas. "Royal Command" is an episode of the British comedy television series ''The Goodies''. This episode is also known as "''Royal Command Performance''". Written by The Goodies, with songs and music by Bill Oddie. Plot The Goodies are in charge of the Royal Command Performance, and the Royal family arrives for the occasion. Tim has not realising that the Royal family always went to sleep during the performances, Bill and Graeme are horrified to find them asleep and prods them awake. The result of actually seeing the performances makes them demand another show. Tim comments: "I'd be happy to be an OBE — best of all, an Earl and an OBE." A G-string is a type of thong, a narrow piece of fabric, leather, or satin that covers or holds the genitals, passes between the buttocks, and is attached to a waistband around the hips. "The Stripper" is an instrumental composed by David Rose, recorded in 1958 and released four years later. It evinces a jazz influence with especially prominent trombone slides, and evokes the feel of music used to accompany striptease artists. "The Stripper" reached #1 on ''Billboards Top 100 chart in July 1962. It became a gold record. ''Billboard'' ranked the record as the #5 song of 1962. The tune came to prominence by chance.
