Earl Cochrane
Earl Cochrane is a Canadian soccer executive, who has previously worked the Canadian Soccer Association, D.C. United, and Toronto FC. Playing career Cochrane played university soccer at Carleton University. He was a four-time OUA All-star and a two time all-Canadian defender. Cochrane also played professionally in Asia. Management Cochrane worked for the Canadian Soccer Association as the National Teams Manager from January 2001 before becoming Director of Communications in 2005. He was also Director of Communications of D.C. United for two years before returning to Canada. Cochrane was an original member of Toronto FC, joining in July 2006 as the club's Manager of Team Operations. Cochrane was named TFC Academy Director in April 2007. He was appointed interim general manager of Toronto FC on Sept 14, 2010, following Mo Johnston's removal. Kevin J. Payne (March 5, 1953 – December 25, 2022) was an American association football, soccer executive. He was the president (corporate title), president and chief executive officer of D.C. United from 1994 to 2012, and the president and general manager of Toronto FC. He was also chairman of the technical committee and board member for the U.S. Soccer Federation and vice chairman of the U.S. Soccer Foundation. Early career Payne played soccer growing up, in college and at the amateur/semipro level. Mo Johnston
Maurice John Giblin Johnston (born 13 April 1963) is a Scottish football player and coach. Johnston, who played as a forward, started his senior football career with Partick Thistle in 1981. He moved to Watford in 1983, where he scored 23 league goals and helped them reach the 1984 FA Cup Final. In 1984 he joined Celtic and scored 72 goals in 128 matches, won the Scottish Cup in 1985 and the Scottish league championship in 1986. Johnston signed for Nantes in 1987. Carleton Ravens
The Carleton Ravens are the athletic teams that represent Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. The most notable sports team for Carleton is the men's basketball team. In men's basketball, the Ravens have won 16 of the last 19 national men's championships, which is more than any top division college in Canada or the United States. The Ravens went on an 87-game winning streak from 2003 to 2006. They also had a 54-game home winning streak. The Ravens finished 2nd in the World University Basketball Championships in 2004. Toronto FC Academy, also known as TFC Academy, is the youth academy and development system of Canadian Major League Soccer club Toronto FC. The academy has divisions from U14 to U19 and includes over 110 young players. The senior academy team is known as Toronto FC III. History The TFC Academy's U-18 squad began playing in the Canadian Soccer League in 2008, with the U-16 squad competing in the CSL Reserve Division as TFC Academy II.
