Cody Eakin (born May 24, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with the SCL Tigers of the National League (NL). He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the third round, 85th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and has previously played for the Capitals, Dallas Stars, Vegas Golden Knights, Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres. Playing career Major junior Eakin was drafted in the first round, sixth overall, by the Swift Current Broncos in the 2006 WHL Draft. Michael Eakin
J. Michael Eakin (born 1948) is an American lawyer, who served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was elected to the State's Supreme Court in 2001 as a Republican. In November 2011, Justice Eakin won judicial retention in a statewide election for his second 10-year term with 73.6% of the popular vote. In response to an ethics investigation, he made his resignation public on March 15, 2016. Early life and career Justice Eakin was born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania in 1948. Douglas James "Doug" Holtz-Eakin (born February 3, 1958) is an American economist. William Eakin
William Eakin (June 14, 1828 – March 14, 1918) was a farmer and political figure in the Northwest Territories, Canada. He was a member and speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories. He was born at Markham Township in 1828, the son of a wagon maker and merchant. After attending school, he joined his family business, remaining there until purchasing and starting businesses of his own: a carriage making company and later a planing mill where he made a variety of items, along with his brother. Eakin later sold his plant and moved west to homestead and farm near Crescent Lake. Here he involved himself in local affairs, eventually winning election to the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories for the district of Saltcoats, serving from 1894 to 1902. Harvey Eakin (October 30, 1926 – January 13, 1973) was a NASCAR Grand National Series driver from Baltimore, Maryland who competed from 1954 to 1957. Summary During the course of 17 races, he never won or even got a finish in the "top ten." Eakin did race for 2,089 official NASCAR laps; bringing home $1,110 in the process ($ when adjusted for inflation). Murder Of Craig Sorger
Craig Sorger (February 10, 1990 — February 15, 2003) was a teenager from Ephrata, Washington who was murdered by his then-12-year-old friends Evan Drake Savoie and Jake Lee Eakin. Sorger, who was autistic, had been invited by the two boys to play in a park near his home. There, Savoie dropped a large rock on his neck, knocking him to the ground. He then repeatedly beat and stabbed him. Eakin joined in the attack, beating Sorger in the head and legs with a tree branch. Savoie and Eakin were both charged with first-degree murder, despite maintaining their innocence. They were tried as adults, becoming some of the youngest murder defendants tried as adults in Washington state history. Eakin eventually confessed as part of a plea bargain and agreed to testify against Savoie. Eakin was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Bruce Glen Eakin (born September 28, 1962 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. Eakin was drafted 204th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft, where he played nine games. He later moved to the Detroit Red Wings where he played four games.
