Eagle Junction is a former suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is now a neighbourhood within the suburb of Clayfield. History The neighbourhood takes its name from the Eagle Junction railway station. The station was originally named ''Eagle Farm Junction'', but the name was changed to just ''Eagle Junction'' in January 1888. The original name reflects that this station was the junction at which the railway line to Eagle Farm railway station split off. Eagle Junction railway station is located on the North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It is one of two railway stations serving the Brisbane suburb of Clayfield, the other being Clayfield railway station. North of the station, the Pinkenba and Airport lines branch off. History The station opened as Eagle Farm Junction, being renamed Eagle Junction in January 1888. The original name reflects that this station was the junction at which the line to Eagle Farm branched off. The station was rebuilt in 1963. In 2011, the station was upgraded. Caboolture Railway Station
Caboolture railway station is located on the North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the urban centre of Caboolture in the Moreton Bay Region. History Caboolture station opened in June 1889 as part of the extension of the North Coast Line from Petrie, which opened in March 1888. As part of the electrification of the line from Petrie, the existing station building was replaced and a new island platform built. The new station opened on 16 November 1985, while the electrification opened on 28 June 1986. The Kilcoy line branched off to the north-west. It opened in December 1909, closing in September 1996. The Kedron Brook is a creek that flows through the northern suburbs of Brisbane in the south-east region of Queensland, Australia.
