Kimberley (Western Australia)
The Kimberley is the northernmost of the nine regions of Western Australia. It is bordered on the west by the Indian Ocean, on the north by the Timor Sea, on the south by the Great Sandy Desert, Great Sandy and Tanami Desert, Tanami deserts in the region of the Pilbara, and on the east by the Northern Territory. Drysdale River is a river in the Kimberley (Western Australia), Kimberley region of Western Australia. The river rises in the Caroline Ranges, flows in a northerly direction and discharges into Napier Broome Bay near Kalumburu, Western Australia, Kalumburu. The King George River is a perennial river located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Location and features The headwaters of the river rise to the west of the Ashton Range and flow in a northerly direction through the Drysdale River National Park past the Seppelt Range, joined by one minor tributary before reaching its river mouth and emptying into Koolama Bay and the Timor Sea, approximately east of .
