"E la luna bussò" (also graphically rendered as "...e la luna bussò") is an Italian reggae ballad written by Mario Lavezzi, Oscar Avogadro and Daniele Pace and performed by Loredana Bertè. One of Bertè's major hits, it stayed on the Italian Singles Chart for 29 weeks. It is regarded as the first reggae song produced in Italy. Bertè also recorded a Spanish version of the song titled "Y la luna llamò". Loredana Bertè (; born 20 September 1950) is an Italian singer and actress. In her long career she has worked with prominent Italian songwriters such as Pino Daniele, Ivano Fossati, Mario Lavezzi, Mango and Enrico Ruggeri, among others; her sister Mia Martini was also an acclaimed singer. She has experimented with different genres, from rock to reggae, from funk to pop. Bertè is known for the eccentric clothing she wears onstage for her performances. Francesca Alotta (born 1 January 1969) is an Italian pop singer, best known for the song " Non amarmi". Background Born in Palermo, Alotta started her career in 1988, as a member of the female group Compilations. She started her solo career in 1991, winning the Cantagiro with the song "Chiamata urgente". In 1992, Alotta won the "Newcomers" section of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Non amarmi", a duet with Aleandro Baldi, which later became an international hit with the title "No Me Ames". Formula 3 (also spelled as Formula Tre) is an Italian pop-rock musical group, mainly successful in the early 1970s. History The group formed in 1969 as a power trio with Alberto Radius on guitar, vocals and bass, Gabriele Lorenzi on keyboards and bass, and Tony Cicco on drums and vocals. Produced by Lucio Battisti, they supported Battisti in his rare live concerts. Their first hit was the song "Questo folle sentimento", which peaked at number five in the Italian charts in 1970. It was followed by a series of top 20 hits, notably "Io ritorno solo" (number 3) and "Eppur mi son scordato di te" (number 2), all composed by Battisti with his writing partner Mogol.
