E-Z Rollers
The E-Z Rollers are a British drum and bass group.IMO Record"EZ Rollers", '' IMO Records'', London, 21 October 2011. Retrieved 23 November 2011. The group was formed in 1995 in Suffolk, England. E-Z Rollers began releasing output on the Moving Shadow label, but later created their own label called Intercom Recordings. In 2007, they released the album, ''Conductor''. ''E''–''Z'' configuration, or the ''E''–''Z'' convention, is the IUPAC preferred method of describing the absolute stereochemistry of double bonds in organic chemistry. It is an extension of ''cis''–''trans'' isomer notation (which only describes ''relative stereochemistry'') that can be used to describe double bonds having two, three or four substituents. Following the Cahn–Ingold–Prelog priority rules (CIP rules), each substituent on a double bond is assigned a priority, then positions of the higher of the two substituents on each carbon are compared to each other. EZ Word
EZ Word was a word processor developed as part of the Andrew User Interface System, a user-interface research project jointly done by IBM and the Carnegie Mellon University. Originally developed for UNIX systems, it was the first graphical word processor available for Linux. Many people found the user interface quirky and difficult to learn. The program never really caught on, and the Andrew project stopped developing software in 1997. The last version of the AUIS suite, version 8.0, was never fully debugged, but is free software available under the MIT-CMU license. EZ-DOS
DR-DOS (written as DR DOS, without a hyphen, in versions up to and including 6.0) is a disk operating system for IBM PC compatibles. Upon its introduction in 1988, it was the first DOS attempting to be compatible with IBM PC DOS and MS-DOS (which were the same product sold under different names). DR-DOS was developed by Gary A. Kildall's Digital Research and derived from Concurrent PC DOS 6.0, which was an advanced successor of CP/M-86. As ownership changed, various later versions were produced with names including Novell DOS and Caldera OpenDOS. EZ Canis Majoris
EZ Canis Majoris (abbreviated to EZ CMa, also designated as WR 6) is binary system in the constellation of Canis Major. The primary is a Wolf-Rayet star and it is one of the ten brightest Wolf-Rayet stars, brighter than apparent magnitude 7. Binary system EZ CMa has an apparent visual magnitude which varies between 6.71 and 6.95 over a period of 3.766 days, along with changes in the spectrum. It has been proposed that it could be a binary star, with a neutron star as companion that would complete an orbit around the Wolf-Rayet with that period, being it the cause of those variations. The General Catalogue of Variable Stars lists it as a possible cataclysmic variable on this basis. It has been argued that the companion does not exist and spectral variations are caused by activity on the star's surface. EZ Aquarii
EZ Aquarii is a triple star system approximately from the Sun in the constellation Aquarius. It is also known as Luyten 789-6 and Gliese 866. All three components are M-type red dwarfs. The pair EZ Aquarii AC form a spectroscopic binary with a 3.8-day orbit and a 0.03 AU separation. This pair share an orbit with EZ Aquarii B that has an 823-day period. The A and B components of Luyten 789-6 together emit X-rays. The configuration of the inner binary pair may permit a circumbinary planet to orbit near their habitable zone. EZ Aquarii is approaching the Solar System and, in about 32,300 years, will be at its minimal distance of about from the Sun. The ChView simulation shows that currently its nearest neighbouring star is Lacaille 9352 at about from EZ Aquarii. Edge-notched cards or edge-punched cards are a system used to store a small amount of binary or logical data on paper index cards, encoded via the presence or absence of notches in the edges of the cards. The notches allowed efficient sorting and selecting of specific cards matching multiple desired criteria, from a larger number of cards in a paper-based database of information. In the mid-20th century they were sold under names such as Cope-Chat cards, E-Z Sort cards, McBee Keysort, and Indecks cards. eZ Platform (pronounced "easy platform") is an open-source enterprise PHP content management system (CMS) and Digital eXperience Platform (DXP) developed by the company Ibexa (known previously as eZ Systems), which has headquarters Oslo, Norway and offices in Germany, France, Poland, England, US and Japan. eZ Platform is freely available under the GNU GPL version 2 license, as well as under proprietary licenses that include commercial support as well as access to additional features. EZ Industries
EZ Industries, formerly the Electrolytic Zinc Company, was a zinc miner and refiner in Australia. History EZ Industries was established in 1916 by Amalgamated Zinc as the Electrolytic Zinc Company to operate the Risdon Zinc Works on the banks of the Derwent River in Risdon, Tasmania. EZ Rock was a brand of adult contemporary radio stations heard primarily in Canada. The branding was originally created by Telemedia in the mid-1990s for its AC stations, and based on the call sign of its former Toronto flagship CJEZ-FM (now adult hits-formatted CHBM-FM). Via acquisitions, control of the "EZ Rock" brand passed from Telemedia to Astral Media and later Bell Media. EZ Communications, Inc. was a corporation with its headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. In the 1970s, the small company was one of the pioneers of the easy listening on the FM broadcasting radio spectrum with 2 stations in Manassas and Richmond. Within 25 years, the company grew to 20 stations across the United States. History FM broadcasting in the USA began in the 1930s. Although many broadcast radio stations had already been established in the AM frequency range, the use of FM radio offered higher sound quality. However until the 1970s, FM broadcast frequencies were primarily seen as investments in the future, with most of the self-supporting commercial stations simulcasting with AM stations.
