EXR Logo
ExR is a musical side project of Etta Bond and Raf Riley, signed to Labrinth's record label Odd Child. The duo released their first collaborative extended play ''Emergency Room'' for free download on 20 July 2012 following a series of unreleased ExR demos. They released two promotional singles from the EP in the form of music videos. Etta also performed "Baddy" in May 2013 for SB.TV as part of their ''String Sessions'' feature alongside a string quartet. After the EP, Riley released a solo EP and Bond worked on some new material with other producers. On 26 July 2013, ExR released the music video for "Big Girl's Vogue", the first promotional single from their second EP ''Meds''. The eight-track EP was released for free download on 8 August 2013. The duo appeared on DJ Target's BBC Radio 1Xtra show on 13 August 2013 to promote the EP. They also appeared on CJ Beatz' "Soundcheck Special" to perform "Loophole" on 1Xtra on 9 September 2013. Cambridge
Cambridge ( ) is a university city and the county town in Cambridgeshire, England. It is located on the River Cam approximately north of London. Raf Riley
Rafael Greifer, better known by his stage name Raf Riley, is a record producer and artist from North London. He was formerly a member of ExR alongside Etta Bond, and is signed to Odd Child Recordings, OddChild Music and has released on Diplo's Mad Decent label. ExR released two EPs: ''Emergency Room'' and ''Meds''. He released his own EP titleNow That's What I Call Gangster Beats!!in January 2013. Riley is also known for his comedy production: alongside Rogue Films, Reuben "Dangerman" Dangoor, Riley is one half of the Grand Spectacular. Their 2010 single "Being A Dickhead's Cool" became a viral video, receiving over thirteen million YouTube views. Riley and Dangerman are also part of the comedy rap trio Sabotage Party alongside Ray Knotts, in which he raps as well as produces. Wireless Festival
The Wireless Festival is a rap and urban music festival that takes place every year in London, England. It is owned and managed by Live Nation. While it started as primarily a rock and pop festival, in recent years it has focused on hip hop and other urban music. Headline acts since 2010 have included Jay-Z, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Stormzy. From its inception in 2005 until 2008, the festival was sponsored by telecommunications company O2, and was called the O2 Wireless Festival. The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house. Headliners and most supporting acts typically play at both sites, with Reading's Friday line up becoming Leeds' Saturday line-up, Reading's Saturday line-up playing at Leeds on Sunday, and Leeds' Friday line-up attending Reading on Sunday. Rinse FM
Rinse FM is a London-based community radio station, licensed for "young people living and/or working within the central, east and south London areas". It plays garage, grime, dubstep, house, jungle, UK funky and other dance music genres popular in the United Kingdom. Labrinth
Timothy Lee McKenzie (born 4 January 1989), better known by his stage name Labrinth, is an English singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. After initially pursuing a career in music production, Simon Cowell signed him to his record label Syco Music as a recording artist, becoming the first singer who Cowell signed without having competed on a talent show in six years. North London
North London is the northern part of London, England, north of the River Thames. Etta Bond
Henrietta "Etta" Bond is a British singer-songwriter. She was the first signing to OddChild Music, partially owing to Bond becoming friends with Labrinth thanks to a fluke Myspace encounter. Career Writing material for her debut release, Bond worked with producer DaVinChe – having already uploaded the demo singles "Ask Me to Stay" and "Come Over". Credited as Henrietta, she appeared on DaVinChe's song "No Significance", which was also featured on the ''4.3.2.1.'' film soundtrack. Bond also made an appearance on British rapper Wretch 32's second studio album, ''Black and White'', on the track "Forgiveness" – which was released on 11 December 2011 as a single. Global Gathering
Global Gathering was an annual dance music festival by Angel Festivals Limited. Festivals are held in countries such as the UK, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and feature leading electronic music artists from around the globe. The festival ran from 2001 to 2014; the concept came about following enormous interest in the opening ''Code'' club (now ''Air''), the home of Godskitchen.
