EQ Music or EQ Music Blog (formerly Electroqueer.com) is an independent British music website and blog founded by American digital and music enthusiast Raj Rudolph. Alternative names include EQ and EQ Music; the site supports new electronic pop artists alongside its music reviews, features, interviews and video previews. In 2007, with the addition of New Artists Editor Mandy Rogers, the site developed into a multi-author blog; in 2013, pop blogger Luis Gonzalez joined. In 2008, the EQ Music brand began to spoke into several entertainment related divisions including live showcasing, touring, record label and artist management; together, EQ Music's brands consolidate into a diverse international music media group. An MP3 blog is a type of blog in which the creator makes music files, normally in the MP3 format, available for download. They are also known as musicblogs, audioblogs or soundblogs (the latter two can also mean podcasts). MP3 blogs have become increasingly popular since 2003. Parralox
Parralox is an Australian synthpop band formed by John von Ahlen in 2008. Originally featuring lead vocalist Rowena "Roxy" Martin and producer, songwriter John von Ahlen of dance act Nova; the band has undergone a number of line-up changes, most notably the replacement of lead vocalist Roxy with Amii Jackson and the addition of The Human League's Ian Burden on bass guitar. Their debut single "I Fell in Love with a Drum Machine" released February 2008, caught the attention of the international EDM community propelling the duo from local to international prominence. Polly Scattergood (born 18 October 1986) is an English singer and songwriter. She has been described as ethereal, dark, intense and quirky, while her musical style has been described as "early 21st century electro-dance-pop of London proper". Graffiti6 is a collaboration founded in London in 2009. Made up of Jamie Scott (songwriter and lead vocals) and Tommy "D" Danvers (producer and songwriter). Graffiti6 are known for their "blend of characterful voice and crisp, intricate groove created from an infectious alliance of electric piano and offbeat guitar". Career Beginnings Singer/songwriter Jamie Scott and producer/songwriter TommyD started collaborating in 2008. Both London-based multi-instrumentalists, they began making music together in 2009 under the name Graffiti6. Christian Burns
Christian Anthony Burns (born 18 January 1974) is an English singer. He is the son of Tony Burns of The Signs, a Liverpool-based rock band signed to Decca Records in the 1960s. Career Burns was a member of the popular British band BBMak, along with Mark Barry and Stephen McNally. The group sold nearly three million albums worldwide and had a top 5 single with "Back Here", in the UK. In the United States, "Back Here" reached #13 on the Hot 100 and received heavy video play on MTV and TRL. In 2003, the band broke up, and all the members went on to pursue solo careers.
