Esporte Clube Pinheiros, or Pinheiros Basquete, is a Brazilian professional basketball team that is based in São Paulo, Brazil. The club's name is commonly abbreviated as E.C. Pinheiros, or E.C.P. The full name of the club is Esporte Clube Pinheiros São Paulo (E.C.P.S.P.). It is a part of the multi-sports club, Esporte Clube Pinheiros (E.C.P.) which among other sports, fields a men's professional basketball team. Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) (English: New Basketball Brazil) is the Brazilian premier professional men's basketball league. It is organized by the Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB) (National Basketball League), in a new format of Brazil's previous top-tier level basketball competition, the Campeonato Brasileiro de Basquete (Brazilian Basketball Championship). The NBB is managed by the Brazilian basketball associations, which were founding members of the LNB. Format The NBB is the annual basketball league that is promoted by the national Brazilian league (LNB) organizing body, and is endorsed by the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CFB). UniCEUB/BRB
The Instituto Viver Basquetebol, commonly known simply as Lobos Brasília, was a Brazilian professional basketball club, based in Brasília, Federal District. The team was founded in 2000, and renamed in 2009, been originally related to Salgado de Oliveira University (UNIVERSO). Between 2010 and 2017 was associated with Centro Universitário de Brasília (UniCEUB) and named ''UniCEUB/BRB/Brasília''. Their gyms are Nilson Nelson and ASCEB (minor games). In 2017, the team was dissolved. The lack of soccer tradition in Brasília contributed to the basketball team of UniCEUB/BRB being adopted as a local passion. Vítor Alves Benite (born February 20, 1990), commonly known as Vítor Benite, or simply as Benite, is a Brazilian-Italian professional basketball player for CB Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria of the Spanish Liga ACB and EuroCup Basketball, EuroCup.
