Adenovirus early region 1A (''E1A'') is a gene expressed during adenovirus replication to produce a variety of E1A proteins. It is expressed during the early phase of the viral life span. ''E1A'' encodes two major proteins in Ad5, translated after alternative splicing of the viral DNA transcript, that are able to cause a variety of different effects in mammalian cells. The proteins encoded by ''E1A'' tend to localize in the nucleus and affect genetic regulation by the host cell. After viral infection, they stimulate expression of other viral genes and can either enhance or repress expression of cellular genes depending on cellular context and coordination with other viral genes. The addition of ''E1A'' DNA into cells may cause adverse biological effects, such as increasing p53 expression, stimulating DNA synthesis and cell cycle progression in quiescent cells, and inhibiting differentiation. Haplogroup E-M132, formerly known as E-M33 (E1a), is a human Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup. Along with E-P177, it is one of the two main branches of the older E-P147 paternal clade. E-M132 is divided into two primary sub-branches, E-M44 and E-Z958, with many descendant subclades. Distribution E-M132 is found most often in West Africa, and today it is especially common in the region of Mali. Shin-Tōmei Expressway
The , literally meaning New Tōmei, is a national expressway in Japan running parallel to the Tomei Expressway as an alternate route. It is operated by Central Nippon Expressway Company. The expressway is also numbered E1A under the "2016 Proposal for Realization of Expressway Numbering". Shin-Tōmei Expressway provides a more direct and shorter route between Tokyo and Nagoya compared to the Tōmei Expressway and avoids most city centres along the way. Its western terminus connects with Isewangan Expressway in Nagoya. History Shin-Tōmei Expressway was partially opened on April 14, 2012 with 162 km section from Gotemba, Shizuoka to Mikkabi, Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. Isewangan Expressway
The is a national expressway in the Tōkai region of Japan. It is owned and operated by Central Nippon Expressway Company. Naming The route primarily follows the north shore of Ise Bay (wangan means bayshore in Japanese). Officially, the route has three designations. The section from Toyota-higashi Junction to Tōkai Junction is referred to as part of the Second Tōkai Expressway. The section from Tōkai Junction to Tobishima Interchange is referred to as part of National Route 302. This section is not classified as a national expressway but rather as a national highway for motor vehicles only with national expressway concurrency. There is no difference in the design standard of this section compared with the rest of the expressway.
