E-government Development Center () is a public legal entity that provides governmental e-services to citizens and non-citizens. The Center is subordinated to State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations. The service utilizes digital technologies and establishes e-government to make state services operate more efficiently, ensure service availability, and improve citizen's living standards. History The service was set up by presidential Decree No.1885 named “About e-government development and measures related to the transition to digital government” dated March 14, 2018. Activities Information exchange among governmental entities and e-Services is implemented by the E-Government Development Center via the “e-Gov” portal. Electronic government services, services related to online visa issuance and digital payment systems are its major activities. Türksat (company)
Türksat Satellite Communications Cable TV and Operations Incorporated ( tr, Türksat Uydu Haberleşme Kablo TV ve İşletme A.Ş.) is the sole communications satellite operator in Turkey. It was established on 21 December 1990 as a state-owned company named ''Türksat Milli Haberleşme Uyduları'' (Türksat National Communications Satellites) in Gölbaşı, Ankara Province; eventually incorporating the satellite services of Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. and becoming ''Türksat A.Ş.'' on 22 July 2004. Türksat A.Ş. also owns 100% of the shares of Eurasiasat S.A.M., jointly established as a spin-off company with Aérospatiale in 1996 to manufacture and launch Türksat 2A ( Eurasiasat 1) in 2001. Government Digital Service
The Government Digital Service is a unit of the Government of the United Kingdom's Cabinet Office tasked with transforming the provision of online public services. It was formed in April 2011 to implement the "Digital by Default" strategy proposed by a report produced for the Cabinet Office in 2010 called 'Directgov 2010 and beyond: revolution not evolution'. It is overseen by the Public Expenditure Executive (Efficiency & Reform). GDS is primarily based in the Whitechapel Building, London. Its CEO is Tom Read. GOV.UK On 20 July 2010, Directgov, the citizen services website, was moved to the Cabinet Office from the Department for Work and Pensions.
