E.M.D
E.M.D. was a Swedish boyband consisting of Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andréasson and Danny Saucedo. All three members had participated on the Swedish version of ''Idol'', with Erik as a finalist and Danny at 6th place on Idol 2006. Mattias was eliminated as the fourth runner-up on Idol 2007. After ''Idol'', the three formed E.M.D. releasing three albums and had a number of singles, including four consecutive #1s in 2007–2009 for "All for Love", "A State of Mind", "Jennie Let Me Love You" and "Baby Goodbye". In January 2009, the band won a Swedish Grammy for Song of The Year with "Jennie Let Me Love You". In late 2010, the band announced an indefinite hiatus and broke up. The three members reunited in 2019 with a cover of the song "Hon är min", a song by GES. Danny Saucedo
Daniel Gabriel Alessandro Saucedo Grzechowski (born 25 February 1986), known professionally as Danny Saucedo or simply Danny, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as one of the finalists in ''Idol 2006'', the Swedish version of ''Idol'', where he reached the top six. Saucedo has released five studio albums and more than fifteen singles as a solo artist. His debut album '' Heart Beats'' and its three singles "Tokyo", " Play It for the Girls" and "Radio" topped the Swedish charts. He was simultaneously a member of Swedish pop trio E.M.D. with Erik Segerstedt and Mattias Andréasson, which was active between 2007 and 2010. Erik Segerstedt
Mats Erik Segerstedt (born 20 April 1983) is a Swedish singer. Segerstedt was born in Uddevalla. As a student he attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. He was the runner-up to Markus Fagervall on the third season of Swedish version of ''Idol 2006''. Erik was part of the Swedish band E.M.D., alongside two other ''Idol'' contestants, Danny Saucedo from ''Idol 2006'' and Mattias Andréasson from ''Idol 2007''. The band took a break in late 2010. Erik was a contestant in Let's Dance 2013. He also voiced Prince Hans in the Swedish dub of Disney's '' Frozen''. Mattias Andréasson
Mattias Andréasson (born 29 March 1981 in Västerås), Swedish singer and ''Swedish Idol 2007'' contestant (in which he came 5th place). As a student, he attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. He is also known as dmaSOUL. He was part of Swedish band E.M.D., which was active between 2007 and 2010. ''Idol'' For his first audition in ''Idol 2007'', Mattias sang the Musiq Soulchild hit ''Just Friends''. Jennie Let Me Love You
"Jennie Let Me Love You" is the second single released by Swedish boy band E.M.D. Following the commercial success of their previous single, "Jennie Let Me Love You" debuted at number on the Swedish singles chart. The following week it climbed to the top spot, where it remained for six consecutive weeks, making it the longest running number one single in Sweden in 2008. It has since been certified Gold, in recognition of 10,000 copies of the single sold.
