Eleanor Marion Bennett (born 4 February 1942) (née Scrymgeour) is an Australian botanist who was employed by the Western Australian Herbarium from 1965 to 1970. She collected ''Eucalyptus'' species in the south-west of Western Australia and published a revision of the genus ''Hybanthus ''Hybanthus'' (green-violet) is a genus of flowering plants in the family Violaceae. ''Hybanthus'' (green-violet) is a genus of flowering plants in the family Violaceae. Subiaco (known colloquially as Subi) is an inner-Western suburbs (Perth), western suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. The Western Australian Herbarium is the State Herbarium in Perth, Western Australia. It is part of the State government's Department of Parks and Wildlife, and has responsibility for the description and documentation of the flora of Western Australia. It has the Index Herbariorum code of PERTH. The Hebarium forms part of the Australasian Virtual Herbarium.
