E-Life
Elvis de Oliveira, better known as E-Life, is a rapper from Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is also a DJ for radio station Juize FM. E-Life started his music career with rap crew Dope Syndicate. DJ Raw Deal's move to the United States in 1995 prompted E-Life to go solo, touring through Europe. His first solo single, ''Stacked With Honors'', came out a year later, in 1996. The song received a lot of airplay on the radio, but didn't make it to the charts. It was nominated for best hiphop song for the 1997 TMF Awards, and it allowed E-Life to perform with LL Cool J, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Ice Cube, the Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Blackstreet and Run DMC. His second single, ''More Days To Come'' (1998) was E-Life's biggest hit, reaching sixth place in the Dutch charts. Its successors ''I Wonder Why'' and ''In Doubt '99'' (both 1999) didn't make it to the Dutch charts, while ''K.I.T.A. (Bring It On)'' would drop from the charts after two weeks. Evil Activities
Evil Activities is a hardcore techno music DJ group formed in 1998 in the Netherlands. The two original members were Telly Luyks and Kelly van Soest, however it now only consists of Kelly van Soest. In 2016, E-Life joined Evil Activities. Evil Activities released three music albums: ''Dedicated'' (2003), ''Evilution'' (2008), and ''Extreme Audio'' (2012); their notable works are: ''Nobody Said It Was Easy'', ''Evil Inside'' and ''Broken''. Kevin Masters Show Starring Tom Rhodes
The ''Kevin Masters Show starring Tom Rhodes'' is an English language Dutch television late night talk show that aired every Monday night at 10 p.m. by the Yorin television station from 2002-2004 in the Netherlands. ''Kevin Masters Show starring Tom Rhodes'' was hosted by comedian Tom Rhodes and featured rapper E-Life as the musical sidekick. Background Rhodes started performing in the Netherlands at Toomlers once a year, beginning in 1998. The RTL network contacted Rhodes London management after seeing him perform in 2002. The producers wanted an American host to interview Dutch celebrities and interpret Dutch culture. The name "Kevin Masters" was simply a generic American name the producers used to fill in until they assigned an actual host. Michael Franti (born April 21, 1966) is an American rapper, musician, poet, activist, documentarian, and singer-songwriter, known for his participation in many musical projects, most with a political and social emphasis, including the Beatnigs and the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy. "Public enemy" is a term which was first widely used in the United States in the 1930s to describe individuals whose activities were seen as criminal and extremely damaging to society, though the phrase had been used for centuries to describe pirates, vikings, highwaymen, bandits, mobsters, and similar outlaws. Public Enemies (group)
Public Enemies was a Norwegian rhythm and blues band from Oslo, known for its performances at Club 7 and later work with Karin Krog. They released a notable version of ''Sunny and Watermelon Man'' with Karin Krog. The group toured Northern Europe, sharing stages with, among others, Steve Winwood from Traffic. Randy "Ran-D" Wieland (18 May 1981 in ZeelandNbr) is a Dutch DJ and music producer. Ran-D has been active in hardstyle music since 2006, when he released his first track "D-Pression" on Special Records. After his debut release, Ran-D moved on to release his music on the large Hardstyle Record Label A2 Records, which is a sub-label of Scantraxx Recordz. After releasing on A2 Records for seven years, in March 2015 and alongside Frequencerz, Adaro and B-Front, Ran-D founded the hardstyle record label ''Roughstate Music''. Coone
Koen Bauweraerts (born 30 May 1983), better known by his stage name Coone, is a Belgian hardstyle producer and DJ. Career Coone first started producing in 1998 at age 15. He released his first EP in 2002, "Protect The Innocent". Under the pseudonym "The Artist Also Known As", he broke out into the scene with "Eating Donuts", a remix of "Song 2" by Blur. RTL 7 is a Dutch free-to-cable television channel that was launched as ''Veronica'' on 1 September 1995. RTL 7 is RTL Nederland's "men's channel" with action films, reality television about crime and professions, soccer, motorsport and talk shows about sports.
