Dzeko (DJ)
Julian Dzeko (born May 3, 1992), known mononymously as Dzeko, is a Canadian DJ and record producer. Known as a former member of the DJ duo Dzeko & Torres, he left the group to pursue a solo career in 2016. Dzeko released "Liberty" as a single on December 12, 2016, as well as "Never Gonna Love Me" on February 2, 2017 on Armada Deep. He has also put up remixes on his SoundCloud page for the songs "Paris" and " Something Just Like This" by The Chainsmokers and " Congratulations" and " Circles" by Post Malone. On December 8, 2017, Dzeko was invited by the Harvard College Electronic Music Collective to lecture on the state of the music industry. In 2018, Dzeko collaborated with Dutch DJ Tiësto alongside featured guests Preme and Post Malone, to release the single "Jackie Chan". Future House
Future house is a house music genre that emerged in the 2010s in the United Kingdom, described as a fusion of deep house, UK garage and incorporating other elements and techniques of other EDM genres. It is high in energy, generally consisting of big drops, 4/4 beats and is sonically bass heavy. Etymology The term "future house" was coined by French DJ Tchami and was first used to categorise his 2013 remix of Janet Jackson's "Go Deep" on SoundCloud. Tchami used the term without considering it a genre saying in a 2015 interview "Future house was meant to be 'any kind of house music that hasn't been invented yet,' so I never considered it as a genre. I guess people made it what it is because my music was specific and leading to build a bridge between house and EDM, which isn't a bad thing". The Chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers are an American electronic DJ and production duo consisting of Alexander "Alex" Pall and Andrew "Drew" Taggart. They started out by releasing remixes of songs by indie artists. The EDM-pop duo achieved a breakthrough with their 2014 song " #Selfie", which became a top-twenty single in several countries. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The OCC produces its charts by gathering and combining sales data from retailers through market researchers Kantar, and claims to cover 99% of the singles market and 95% of the album market, and aims to collect data from any retailer who sells more than 100 chart items per week. Single Top 100
The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data. The list is especially intended for the music industry and those who take an interest in charts. Irish Singles Chart
The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the previous Thursday (i.e., the day before issue). Ultratop
Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia. "Jackie Chan" is a song with vocals by Canadian rapper Preme, featuring vocals from American rapper and singer Post Malone. The track was originally featured on Preme's debut full-length album, ''Light of Day'', released on May 4, 2018. Upon hearing the vocal in the studio, Dutch DJ Tiësto and Canadian DJ Julian Dzeko decided to produce an alternate version with crossover club appeal, for release as a single. The dance version is credited to Tiësto and Dzeko featuring Preme and Post Malone. The single was released through Musical Freedom on 18 May 2018. It was written by all of the song's performers together with Louis Bell and Luis Raposo Torres. The title of the song is a reference to the martial artist and actor of the same name.
