Dylan Lee
Dylan Ryan Lee (born August 1, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for Fresno State. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 10th round of the 2016 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2021 and started the fourth game of the 2021 World Series for the Atlanta Braves. Amateur career Lee attended Dinuba High School in Dinuba, California. Undrafted out of high school, he attended the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California for two years. Lee then transferred to Fresno State to play for the Bulldogs. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 10th round of the 2016 MLB draft. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Florida Complex League Marlins are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Miami Marlins, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. The Gwinnett Stripers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. The Jupiter Hammerheads are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and the Single-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
