Dylan Clarke
Dylan Clarke (born 6 September 1998) is a former professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is the younger brother of Sydney's Ryan Clarke (Australian footballer), Ryan Clarke. He was educated at St Joseph's College, Ferntree Gully and Melbourne Grammar School. Clarke was recruited with pick 63 in the 2016 AFL Draft, 2016 national draft. He made his senior debut against the Geelong Cats in round 9 of the 2018 AFL season. He was called up for his second game in Round 11, 2019. Clarke lined up on Carlton captain and Brownlow Medal favorite Patrick Cripps, and kept him to the quietest game of his entire career, as one of the best players on the ground. He played in Essendon's next game in Round 13 against Hawthorn, once more playing a tagging role, holding Hawthorn star Jager O'Meara to 14 disposals to three quarter time and 23 for the match, while gathering 23 possessions himself. 2018 AFL Season
The 2018 AFL season was the 122nd season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior men's Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs, ran from 22 March until 29 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a 2018 AFL finals series, finals series featuring the top eight clubs. St Joseph's College is a Salesian Roman Catholic boys' secondary school in the outer-eastern suburb of Ferntree Gully, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. History The college's history is closely tied with the Salesians of Lysterfield (indeed, the parish priest of Ferntree Gully wanted the school to be called Don Bosco). The Archdiocese of Melbourne founded St Joseph's in 1965 as one of its strategic places. Classes began in February of that year with 70 students in Years 7 and 8. TAC Cup
The NAB League Boys (also referred to as simply the NAB League and formerly known as the TAC Cup) is an under-19 Australian rules football representative competition held in Australia. It is based on geographic regions throughout country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne with each team representing twelve Victorian regions, while a thirteenth team from Tasmania was reintroduced in 2019. The competition is sponsored by National Australia Bank (NAB), having previously been sponsored by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) since its inception. Ryan Clarke (born 17 June 1997) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). Australian Football League
The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Originally known as the Victorian Football League (VFL), it was founded in 1896 as a breakaway competition from the Victorian Football Association (VFA), with its inaugural season commencing the following year.
