Dweebs
''Dweebs'' is an American sitcom that ran on CBS from September 22 to October 27, 1995, before it was canceled. Ten episodes were produced but only six aired. Synopsis The show stars Farrah Forke as Carey, a woman hired to be the office manager of a highly successful software company named Cyberbyte, owned by Warren Mosbey ( Peter Scolari). Warren and the other employees (played by actors Stephen Tobolowsky, David Kaufman, Corey Feldman and Adam Biesk), were stereotypical nerds or "dweebs", highly intelligent yet socially inept, contrasting with the character of Carey. Corey Feldman
Corey Scott Feldman (born July 16, 1971) is an American actor and musician. As a youth, he became well known for roles in the 1980s in films such as '' Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter'' (1984), ''Gremlins'' (1984), ''The Goonies'' (1985), and '' Stand by Me'' (1986). Farrah Rachael Forke (January 12, 1968 – February 25, 2022) was an American actress known for her roles as Alex Lambert on the NBC sitcom ''Wings'', and Mayson Drake on '' Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman''. She also voiced the character Big Barda on the animated television series ''Batman Beyond'' and ''Justice League Unlimited''. Early life Forke was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on January 12, 1968. She was one of two children of Chuck Forke and Beverly (Mendleski). Forke was named after Farrah Fawcett, who was a family friend. Peter Thomas Scolari (September 12, 1955 – October 22, 2021) was an American actor. He was best known for his roles as Michael Harris on ''Newhart'' (1984–1990), Henry Desmond on ''Bosom Buddies'' (1980–1982) and Wayne Szalinski on ''Honey, I Shrunk the Kids'' (1997–2000). Sitcom
A sitcom, a portmanteau of situation comedy, or situational comedy, is a genre of comedy centered on a fixed set of characters who mostly carry over from episode to episode. Sitcoms can be contrasted with sketch comedy, where a troupe may use new characters in each sketch, and stand-up comedy, where a comedian tells jokes and stories to an audience.
