Durga Boro (in Bodo दुर्गा बर` born 28 January 1987) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a striker. Career Early career Born in the small village of Gendrabil, in the Kokrajhar district of Assam, Boro started playing his football for the Kokrajhar HNMP School, for which he played for the team in the Subroto Cup under-14 tournament. Then, after impressing during the Subroto Cup, Boro started to train with the Sports Authority of India in Guwahati. Oil India In 2004 Boro signed with Oil India and played with them in the Assam State Premier League and the I-League 2nd Division while also working for the company itself. Kerala Blasters Football Club (), commonly referred to as The Blasters, is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of football in India. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. The league currently comprises 11 clubs. Each season of the tournament generally runs from October to March. The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to the National Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007.
