Durand Scott
Durand Christopher Scott (born February 22, 1990) is a Jamaican-American professional basketball player for Maccabi Ashdod B.C. of the Liga Leumit. Born in New York City, Scott played for Rice High School, before enrolling in the University of Miami in 2009. In 2013, he won the ACC tournament with the Hurricanes, and he was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Following his graduation he has played professionally in Spain, Israel, Italy, Puerto Rico, Germany and France. Internationally he has represented Jamaica in the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship. High school career The Bronx native attended Rice High School where he was a teammate of Kemba Walker until the latter left for college. Miami Hurricanes Men's Basketball
The Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team is the college basketball team of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. The team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The University of Miami men's basketball team was formed in 1926, but the program was later dropped by the university in 1971. In 1985, fourteen years later, the Hurricanes resumed play as an independent and joined the Big East Conference in 1991, winning the Big East regular season title in 2000. In 2004, in conjunction with the rest of the Miami athletic program, the team moved to the ACC. In 2012–2013, the team won its first regular season ACC championship as well as its first ACC championship. The Indiana Pacers are an American professional basketball team based in Indianapolis. The Pacers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Central Division. Lance Stephenson Jr. (born September 5, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended Lincoln High School in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, where he was named Mr. New York Basketball after his senior year and appeared in the 2009 McDonald's All-American Game. Kemba Hudley Walker (born May 8, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
