Dumpton School
Dumpton School is an independent day school in Wimborne, Dorset, South West England, for girls and boys aged 2 to 13 years. History The school was founded as a boys' preparatory school at Dumpton Park in Kent in 1903 and evacuated to Cranborne Chase in Dorset to avoid bombing raids at the outset of the Second World War, (as were many schools from south-east England). In 1945, the school moved to Gaunt's House, near Wimborne, and flourished under the Headmastership of Colonel Trevor Card. Unusually, the dormitories were named in memory of former pupils who had died on active service; (these included ''Cock, Pollard, Brown, York, Dutton'' and ''Fanshawe''). Trevor Card was succeeded by Messrs Carter and Monkhouse as joint heads in 1958 and subsequently by Major General Frank Thompson. Sidney Boucher
Captain Sidney Boucher (17 September 1899 – 4 August 1963), also known as Sam Boucher, was an English Royal Navy officer who fought in both World War I and World War II. He played first-class cricket for Royal Navy Cricket Club between 1923 and 1929 as well as playing one match for Kent County Cricket Club in 1922. Ore Oduba (born 17 November 1986) is a British television and radio presenter who has also worked as an actor. Blue are an English boy band consisting of members Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan. Duncan James (born Duncan Inglis, 7 April 1978) is an English singer and actor. He became widely known in 2001 as a member of the boy band Blue (English group), Blue and later for playing Ryan Knight (Hollyoaks), Ryan Knight in the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. Rear Admiral Sir Jeremy Michael de Halpert, (born 9 July 1947) is a former senior Royal Navy officer who served as Naval Secretary from 1998 until his retirement in 2002.
