Dulce (Filipino Singer)
Maria Teresa Magdalena Abellare Llamedo-Cruzata (born July 22, 1961), professionally known as Dulce (), is a Filipino people, Filipino singer and actress. Early life Llamedo was born to a poor family of musicians on July 22, 1961 in Villa Bulsita, a sitio of Barangay Bulacao in Pardo, Cebu City. Her father, Leoncio, was a carpenter who played the double bass in the village band while her mother, Andrea, was a dress-maker who sang in their local chapel. She is the sixth of eight siblings having four sisters and three brothers. Among her first five siblings, Llamedo is the only one who completed her elementary education (she was able to send her two younger siblings up to college). The Metro Manila Popular Music Festival (also known as Metropop) was launched by the Popular Music Foundation of the Philippines in 1977 and held annually from 1978 to 1985. It was "the country’s pioneering and once foremost songwriting competition," according to The Philippine Star. Its objective was to promote the advancement of Filipino music, and its chief proponents were journalist Teodoro Valencia and Imee Marcos. These festivals launched many the careers of songwriters and singers (who interpreted the songs), and gave original Filipino music more than a few memorable and modern-day song classics. Maalaala Mo Kaya (song)
"Maalaala Mo Kaya" (original title in Spanish: "Dulce princesa") is a song written by Filipino composer Constancio De Guzman. It was covered by singers such as The New Minstrels, Pilita Corrales, Eva Eugenio, Leo Valdez, Diomedes Maturan and Ryan Cayabyab. Though the song was originally written in Spanish, famed Filipino author Guillermo Gómez Rivera is the only artist to record the song in Spanish under the title "Dulce Princesa" for his 1960 LP album ''Nostalgia Filipina''. A cover version by Dulce has been featured by the television drama anthology of the same name. The TV show uses another cover version, performed by Carol Banawa from 2004 to 2021, and another by JM Yosures since 2021, for its closing credits. The Boeing 747 is a large, long-range wide-body airliner designed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes in the United States between 1968 and 2022. After introducing the 707 in October 1958, Pan Am wanted a jet times its size, to reduce its seat cost by 30%. In 1965, Joe Sutter left the 737 development program to design the 747, the first twin-aisle airliner. Pharyngitis is inflammation of the back of the throat, known as the pharynx. It typically results in a sore throat and fever.
