Dooms Night
"Dooms Night" is the debut single by German DJ and producer Azzido Da Bass, first released in 1999 in Germany. In the UK, the song missed the top 40 until a remix of the song by Timo Maas was released on 9 October 2000; it was this version which gave the song mainstream chart success, reaching number eight on the UK Singles Chart. The Timo Maas remix contains a sample from "How Do You Plead?" by French duo Soofle. Later, a re-work of the Timo Maas version by English duo Stanton Warriors was also released as a single in 2000, entitled "Dooms Night (Revisited)". Their remix featured updated UK garage-esque beats and vocals by UK ragga MC Slarta John. Due to the song's popularity, it also made major appearances around the world, including at the MTV Music Awards in 2000, in several American and European commercials, and in the movie soundtrack to ''Be.Angeled''. Lange (musician)
Stuart Langelaan (born 4 June 1974), stage name Lange, is a British DJ and record producer. Career Lange was born in Shrewsbury. His career began in 1997, signing his first recording contract with Additive Records in the UK. Early popularity was achieved with a collection of releases attracting the attention of industry leaders such as Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, and Judge Jules. Lange had several hits in the UK Singles Chart. His remix work includes DJ Sakin's "Protect Your Mind", which was followed by his Lost Witness "Happiness Happening" remix. Other remix credits include work for Faithless and The Pet Shop Boys (the Lange remix of "New York City Boy" featured on their ''Pop Art'' album's bonus "remix disc"). Julius O'Riordan (born 1966), better known by his stage name Judge Jules, is a British dance music DJ, record producer and entertainment lawyer. He is known for his DJ activities, music production and long-running radio show which achieved global success. He was voted best DJ in the world by ''DJ Mag'' in 1995. Every Little Thing (also known as ELT) is a pop/ soft rock duo from Japan who debuted in August 1996 with the release of their first single called "Feel My Heart". Captain Jack is a German Eurodance and dance-rock project formed in Darmstadt, Germany, in 1995. The project is best known for the single "Captain Jack", which reached the Top-10 in many countries in Europe. History and career 1995–1996: Career beginnings The original formation consisted of Sharky Durban and Liza da Costa. They recorded the songs "Dam, Dam, Dam" and "Captain Jack". Rank 1 is a Dutch trance music, trance group, formed in the Netherlands in 1997. Widely regarded as one of the originators of the Dutch trance sound, the group have produced a number of dancefloor hits since their conception. Although the two members of the group (Benno de Goeij and Piet Bervoets) had worked together before, Rank 1 (a name first used in 1999) was their first project with commercial success. Angelic (band)
Angelic was a British trance group featuring Darren Tate, Judge Jules and Jules's wife, Amanda O'Riordan. History In 1999, when Judge Jules and Darren Tate launched their collaboration named Angelic, Jules was already a successful club and radio DJ. For Darren Tate, the project was the beginning of his musical career. Jules' wife Amanda was featured as a singer in the project. The debut single "It's My Turn" was successful, reaching number 11 and remaining on the UK Singles Chart for 10 weeks. Instrumentally, the track was based on their previously-issued remix of "Change" by Sunscreem, slightly shortened and with new lyrics. Fragma
Fragma are a German vocal trance music group, originally comprising three producers. The group was successful in the early 2000s when they released several singles that charted successfully across Europe, especially the United Kingdom and Ireland, but also found some success in the United States and Australia. They continued to produce music until 2012 following the departure of vocalist Damae. After several years of hiatus, Fragma recruited a new vocalist in 2017, Tess, to front the group.
