Drumhome
The Parish of Drumholm (sometimes spelled Drumhome or referred to as Ballintra) ( ga, Droim Thuama) is a parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raphoe. It is also a civil parishes in Ireland, civil parish, with the variant spelling of Drumhome, in the Barony (Ireland), barony of Tirhugh, County Donegal in Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The parish contains all the land between the large towns of Ballyshannon and Donegal Town, including the small villages of Laghey, Ballintra and Rossnowlagh and the hamlet of Bridgetown. The parish has two Catholic primary schools: St Ernan's National School in Ballintra and St Eunan's National School in Laghey. The current parish priest is Fr Seamus Dagens, who succeeded Fr Daniel McBrearty in 2007. Drumholm is also a parish for the Church of Ireland and a civil parish. St Ernan
Ernan (variants include Ernain, Ernin, Ethernanus) is the name of four Ireland, Irish saints. St. Ernan, Son of Eogan Ernan, Son of Eogan, died around 640. Mentioned in the ''Martyrology of Tallaght'' on 1 January, he was a nephew of St. Columba and sometime missionary to the Picts. His monastery in Ireland was at Druim-Tomma in the district of Drumhome, County Donegal. He is venerated as the patron saint of Killernan, though he may not have visited Scotland and also as patron of the parish of Drumhome, where a school has been dedicated to him. Foróige
Foróige is an Irish organisation whose purpose is "to enable young people to involve themselves consciously and actively in their development and in the development of society". Macra na Tuaithe, the youth branch of Macra na Feirme, was formed on . In 1981, the organisation changed its name to ''Foróige'', derived from ''forbairt na hóige'', which means "development of youth". The Abbey Vocational School (also known as the AVS or the 'Tech'; ''Scoil na Mainistreach'' in Irish) (formerly known as the Donegal Technical School) is a non-denominational vocational secondary school situated in Donegal, County Donegal, Ireland.
