Dromore St Dympna's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Dromore in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. History The club was established in 1933. On Sunday 14 October 2007, Dromore made history by winning the Tyrone Senior Football Championship for the first time by beating Coalisland 0-14 to 0-4 at Healy Park, Omagh. On Sunday 18 October 2009, Dromore won their second Tyrone Senior Football Championship by beating Ardboe 1-14 to 1-13. Captain Colm McCullagh converted a penalty three minutes into injury time in dramatic circumstances at Healy Park Omagh. Dromore () is a village, townland and civil parish in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is nine miles (15 km) south west of Omagh on the A32 and sixteen miles (26 km) from Enniskillen. The Tyrone Senior Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the LCC Group ''Tyrone Senior Football Championship'') is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by top-tier Tyrone GAA clubs. The Tyrone Intermediate Football Club Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the LCC Group Tyrone Intermediate Football Club Championship) is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by mid-tier Tyrone GAA clubs. Galbally Pearses are the title holders (2022) defeating Edendork St Malachy's in the final. History The tournament was first held in 1962, with Cookstown the first champions defeating Galbally in the final. The semi-final of the 2021 Tyrone Intermediate Football Championship was abandoned after eight minutes and an Air Ambulance had to land on the pitch at Healy Park to care for the injured. Ryan McMenamin
Ryan 'Ricey' McMenamin is a Canadian-born Irish Gaelic football manager and former player who formerly managed the Fermanagh county team. He played for the Tyrone county team, winning three All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medals, two Ulster Championships and two National League titles. Forging a reputation for being a bit of a bad boy during his career, he was awarded an All Star for his performances in 2005. McMenamin played his club football for St Dympna's Dromore and won two Tyrone Senior Football Championships with the club. Despite normally starting at corner back for his county, he was not a traditional corner back, often running with the ball up the pitch, and getting himself into scoring positions. Niall Sludden
Niall Sludden is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for the Dromore St Dympna's club and the Tyrone county team. On 25 October 2017, Sludden was named in the Ireland squad for the 2017 International Rules Series against Australia in November. Sludden was in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final team of 2018, when Tyrone faced Dublin at Croke Park (Tyrone lost).
