Driving licence in Iran ( fa, گواهینامه رانندگی) is a document issued by the relevant government agency, regional or local security force, confirming the rights of the holder to drive motor vehicles. There are five types of driver's license in Iran: Motorcycles Permit, Third Grade Driver's license, Second Grade Driver's license, First Grade Driver's license and Specific Driver's license. Iranian National Identity Card
The Iranian identity card is the primary identity document in Iran. Every citizen age of 15 and above, whether resident or not, needs to apply for such a card, which bears their unique national identity number, given name, surname, birth date, and postal code.
