Driveblind
Driveblind formed in Aberdeen in Scotland in 2001. Originally a two-piece singer-songwriter partnership comprising Nick Tyler and Terry McDermott, they recorded a few songs on cassette, later recruiting other band members to complete the band. After quickly establishing themselves on their local music scene, they played several well-attended shows in Aberdeen before then heading across the Atlantic Ocean to perform shows in New York City and Los Angeles. A weekend of gigs at the Viper Room in Hollywood, California led to them being noticed by music industry representatives. They released their debut album on 24 October 2006, via Geffen Records. Terry McDermott (singer)
Terry McDermott (born 6 August 1977) is a Scottish-born American recording artist. He has been part of a number of bands including Driveblind in the UK, and Lotus Crush in the US. In 2012, he came to prominence as the runner-up of the The Voice (U.S. season 3), third season of the The Voice (U.S. TV series), American version of ''The Voice (TV series), The Voice''. Career McDermott became a singer in the Aberdeen-based Driveblind that was founded as a collaboration and two-piece singer-songwriter partnership between McDermott on vocals and Nick Tyler on lead guitar. Viper Room
The Viper Room is a nightclub and live music venue located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, United States. It was established as The Viper Room in 1993 and was partly owned by actor Johnny Depp. The other part owner was Sal Jenco who starred in ''21 Jump Street'' with Depp. The club became known for being a hangout of the young Hollywood elite, and was the site where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on the night before Halloween in 1993. In early 1995, Australian singer and actor Jason Donovan suffered a drug-induced seizure at the club, but survived. MIGGS is an American pop/rock band formed in 2001 in San Francisco, California, United States, by Don Miggs (vocals/guitar). Michael Lombardo (bass/vocals) joined in 2005, Walker Adams (drums/vocals) joined in 2011 and John Luzzi (guitar/vocals) joined in 2012. Over the course of a decade, the band has released five albums and toured extensively with Maroon 5, Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver's Scott Weiland, LIVE's Ed Kowalczyk, Plain White T's, Green River Ordinance, Parachute, Candlebox, and KT Tunstall. Cassadee Blake Pope (born August 28, 1989) is an American pop and country singer. She was the lead vocalist and songwriter of the pop band Hey Monday, with whom she released one studio album and two EPs.
