Drevsjø
Drevsjø is a village in Engerdal municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located about north of the village of Engerdal and about southeast of the village of Sorken. The village takes its name from the lake Drevsjø which lies near the village. The Drevsjø Church is located in the village. The village has some commercial businesses serving the municipality such as grocery stores plus a large sawmill. Drevsjø is well known for its natural environment and its fishing opportunities. It is only 60 minutes from one of Scandinavia's biggest alpine centres, Trysilfjellet. The village has several recreational facilities including a tennis court, football pitch, and a car racing track. The village is the site of the Blokkodden Villmarksmuseum, an open-air museum presenting the history of the use of the natural world since the 18th century. Drevsjø Church
Drevsjø Church ( no, Drevsjø kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Engerdal Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Drevsjø. It is the church for the Drevsjø parish which is part of the Sør-Østerdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1847 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 250 people. History In the 1840s, increasing populations in the Drevsjø area led to the construction of a new annex chapel in the village. The chapel was consecrated in 1847. Initially, two services were held in the chapel each year. In 1886–1887, the chapel was enlarged by adding a church porch with a tower, choir, and sacristy. Kunnskapsforlaget () is a Norwegian publishing company based in Oslo. Kunnskapsforlaget was established in 1975, as a partnership between H. Aschehoug & Co. (W. Nygaard) and Gyldendal Norsk Forlag.
