Dramatist Studio Of Sweden
The Dramatist Studio of Sweden ( sv, Sveriges dramatikers studio, ''Dramatikerstudion'') is a Swedish theatre group founded in 1940 with the objective of performing new plays by Swedish and other Scandinavian dramatists. The group was started in 1939 and officially organised in 1942 in Stockholm by the writers Brita von Horn and Vilhelm Moberg and the actor and producer Helge Hagerman.Birgitta Steene, ''Ingmar Bergman: A Reference Guide'', Amsterdam: Amsterdam University, 2005, p. 506 Horn's friend the drama critic Elsa Collin was the secretary. Per Lindberg (5 March 1890 – 7 February 1944) was a Swedish theatre and film director. Biography Lindberg was born in Stockholm as the son of the actress Augusta Lindberg and the actor, theater director and manager August Lindberg. His sister was the writer Stina Bergman. Already as a schoolboy, Lindberg accompanied his father on a theater trip to Berlin. In 1909, he became a student at Stockholm University. Olof Johan Harald Molander (8 October 1892 – 26 May 1966) was a Sweden, Swedish theatre director, theatre and film director. He was most notable for his many Strindberg and Shakespeare productions. Biography Molander was born in Helsinki. He was the son of the director and writer John Harald Molander, Sr. (1858–1900) and actress Lydia Molander (1851–1929). Knut Gunnar Johanson (13 November 1909 – 24 May 1986) was a Swedish actor known for his frequent work with writer and director Ingmar Bergman. Biography Björnstrand was born Knut Gunnar Johanson in Stockholm as son of actor Oscar Johanson and Ella Mauléon. After his education at the Royal Dramatic Theatre's acting school, he made several appearances in theatre, film and radio. Ingrid Luterkort
Carola Ingrid Margareta Segerstedt Luterkort (''née'' Eklundh, 28 June 1910 – 3 August 2011) was a Swedish actress and stage director, whose professional career spanned from the 1930s until 2010. Born in Lund, Luterkort studied in the Royal Dramatic Training Academy (1932–1934) together with Ingrid Bergman, Gunnar Björnstrand and Signe Hasso. She made her debut at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1933. She taught Theatre Studies at Stockholm University 1970–1977. Luterkort remained active into her 90s. Some of her films are ''Barnen från Frostmofjället'' (1945) and ''Klassfesten'' (2002). In 1998, she released a book on theatre history, ''Om igen, herr Molander!''. Personal life Luterkort was married twice. From 1935 until 1952, she was married to Einar Luterkort. After that marriage ended in divorce, she married Bengt Segerstedt.
