The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. History EHF was founded on 17 November 1991 in Berlin, Germany, although the first EHF Congress convened on 5 June 1992 and assigned EHF's headquarters to Vienna, Austria from 1 September that year. 2017–18 Women's EHF Champions League
The 2017–18 EHF Champions League was the 25th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament. Győri ETO defended their title by defeating HC Vardar in the final. Competition format 16 teams participated in the competition, divided in four groups who played in a round robin, home and away format.
