The Basketball League of Serbia ( sr, Кошаркашка лига Србије, Košarkaška liga Srbije; abbr. КЛС or KLS), is a top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia, consists of two stages: the First League which has 16 teams and the SuperLeague which has 8 teams. Since the 2017–18 season, the top 8 teams in First League are promoted to Super League with five Serbian teams from the ABA League. Yugoslavia Men's National Under-18 Basketball Team
The Yugoslavia men's national under-18 basketball team ( sh, Juniorska košarkaška reprezentacija Jugoslavije) was the boys' basketball team, administered by Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia, that represented SFR Yugoslavia in international under-18 (under age 18) men's basketball competitions, consisted mainly of the European Championship for Juniors, nowadays known as the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. After the dissolution of SFR Yugoslavia in 1991, the successor countries all set up their own national under-18 teams. Serbia and Croatia teams won the Championship for three times each, as of 2017. Mirza Delibašić
Mirza Delibašić (9 January 1954 – 8 December 2001) was a Bosnian professional basketball player and basketball coach, coach. Delibašić was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991. He was enshrined into the FIBA Hall of Famer, FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007. In 2008, he was named one of the 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors. Dragan Kićanović ( sr, Драган Кићановић; born 17 August 1953) is a Serbian and Yugoslav retired professional basketball player. A 1.92m (6 ft 3 in) tall shooting guard, Kićanović played in the 1970s and 1980s, and is considered to be one of the best European players and scorers of all time, having won both the Mr. Europa and the Euroscar European Player of the Year awards in 1981 and 1982. The First Federal Basketball League () was the highest tier level men's professional club basketball competition in SFR Yugoslavia. Founded in 1945 and folded in 1992 (1991-92 Winer Broker YUBA League), it was run by the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia.
