''Download to Donate for Haiti V2.0'' is a sequel of the compilation album ''Download to Donate for Haiti'' by various artists. This is also for the benefit of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, but was released on January 11, 2011. This album was released via Download to Donate. Background The Music for Relief official website announced an updated version/sequel of ''Download to Donate for Haiti'', called ''Download to Donate for Haiti V2.0'', which was released on January 11, 2011. Some of the tracks from the first ''Download to Donate for Haiti'' were included in the album. The cause has raised more than $26,000. The donations support Artists for Peace and Justice, charity: water, Direct Relief, Partners In Health and the United Nations Foundation, as well as reconstruction and the delivery of food, water and medical care in Haiti. Daniel Victor Snaith (born March 29, 1978) is a Canadian composer, musician, and recording artist who has performed under the stage names Caribou, Manitoba, and Daphni. Career Snaith originally recorded under the stage name Manitoba, but after being threatened with a lawsuit by Richard "Handsome Dick" Manitoba (real name Richard Blum), formerly of punk band The Dictators, Snaith changed his performance name to Caribou. Snaith's previous full-length albums were then re-released under the new moniker, and ''The Milk of Human Kindness'' was released in 2005 by Domino. Asobi Seksu
Asobi Seksu was an American shoegaze/dream pop band based in New York City. Their music used a textured and effects-heavy vocal and guitar sound. The band primarily consisted of Yuki Chikudate (vocals, keyboards) and James Hanna (guitar, vocals). History Forming in 2001, the band was originally known as Sportfuck, and issued an EP under that name that year.
