Down And Dirty Duck
''Down and Dirty Duck'', promoted under the abbreviated title ''Dirty Duck'', is a 1974 American adult animated comedy film written and directed by Charles Swenson and starring Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan ( Flo & Eddie) as the voices of a strait-laced, low-level white-collar worker named Willard and an unnamed duck, among other characters. The plot consists of a series of often abstract sequences, including plot material created by stars Kaylan, Volman, Robert Ridgely, and, according to the film's ending credits, various people Swenson encountered during the making of the film. The film received mostly negative reviews. Charles Gregory Swenson (born March 28, 1941) is an American animator, writer, storyboard artist, sound designer, producer and director who worked with animated film for many years. In 1978 he joined Fred Wolf Films, working on ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles''. He is also the creator of Cartoon Network's ''Mike, Lu & Og ''Mike, Lu & Og'' is an American-Russian animated television series created by Mikhail Shindel, Mikhail Aldashin, and Charles Swenson for Cartoon Network, and the 7th of the network's Cartoon Cartoons. Walker Edmiston (February 6, 1926 – February 15, 2007) was an American radio, television and voice actor. Early years Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Edmiston participated in local theater productions during his high school years. He later studied at the Pasadena Playhouse. Career Edmiston appeared on various television programs in character roles during the 1950s–1970s. Before working on network programs, Edmiston had puppet shows on KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. His voice was heard on the puppet programs ''The Buffalo Billy Show'' and ''Time for Beany'' and on ''Dumbo's Circus'', which included live action and animation. The Robbs were an American 1960s pop and rock band from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. They are best known for being the house band on Dick Clark's mid-1960s show ''Where The Action Is''. They are also known for placing the most singles on ''Billboard'' magazine's " Bubbling Under" chart (five as The Robbs, plus a final single as Cherokee) without ever once crossing over into the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Fred Wolf (born September 13, 1932) is an American animator. His works include the 1967 short subject '' The Box'', for which he won an Academy Award; television specials such as ''The Point!'' and '' Free to Be...You and Me'', and television series such as ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'', ''James Bond Jr.'', and Sarah Ferguson’s ''Budgie the Little Helicopter''. Wolf was also responsible for the famous Tootsie Pops “How Many Licks” commercial. In the 1960s, Wolf set up a studio in Hollywood, California with Japanese-American animator Jimmy T. The Mothers of Invention (also known as The Mothers) was an American rock band from California. Formed in 1964, their work is marked by the use of sonic experimentation, innovative album art, and elaborate live shows. Originally an R&B band called the Soul Giants, the band's first lineup included Ray Collins, David Coronado, Ray Hunt, Roy Estrada, and Jimmy Carl Black.
