Doug Eisenman
Doug Eisenman (born October 2, 1968) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Eisenman, a doubles specialist, comes from Santa Ana, California. He attended Foothill High School, where in 1986 he was ''Los Angeles Times'' First Team All-County. He teamed up with Dan Turbow to win the doubles title at the 1986 National Junior Hardcourts Championships. Between 1987 and 1990 he attended UC Berkeley. He won the NCAA Division I doubles title with Matt Lucena in 1990, along with the Collegiate Championships and National Indoor Championships. He competed in the 1989 Maccabiah Games in Israel. In 1990, after graduation, Eisenman turned professional and competed on the Challenger and ATP Tour circuits. He made the semi-finals at São Paulo in 1992 with Royce Deppe and further semi-finals in both Prague and Umag in 1993, with Donald Johnson. All three of his Challenger titles came in 1992. The Croatia Open (currently sponsored by Plava laguna) is a men's ATP tennis tournament held in Umag, Croatia that is part of the 250 series of the ATP Tour. The tournament began in 1990 when it was part of Yugoslavia, and is the oldest tennis tournament in Croatia. It began as the Yugoslavia Open and has been played every year since. It is played on outdoor red clay courts. Carlos Moyá has won the tournament a record five times; he also holds the record for the most consecutive wins at three. His most recent win was in 2007. Emilio Ángel Sánchez Vicario (born 29 May 1965) is a Spanish former doubles world No. 1 tennis player. He won five Grand Slam doubles titles and the men's doubles silver medal at the 1988 Olympic Games. Sanchez is the older brother of multiple Grand Slam winner Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, with whom he partnered to win the Hopman Cup in 1990. After retiring, he captained Spain to Davis Cup victory in 2008. Career Sánchez turned professional in 1984 and won his first top-level singles title in Nice, France in 1986. Mark Knowles (born 4 September 1971) is a Bahamian professional tennis coach and former professional tennis player, becoming the former number 1 in world as a specialist in doubles tennis.
