Double Jeopardy (1992 Film)
''Double Jeopardy'' is a 1992 television thriller film directed by Lawrence Schiller and starring Rachel Ward and Bruce Boxleitner. Plot Jack Hart lives with his lawyer wife and young daughter and enjoys a wonderful life. Jack's old girlfriend, Lisa, comes into town and they have an affair. Lisa kills her current boyfriend in self-defense and Jack witnesses the whole thing. Lisa goes on trial for murder with Jack's wife as her lawyer. As the movie progresses, Lisa's devious side becomes known. Jack is fired from his job because of the scandal. Lisa has a dark side which is discovered but she can not be re-tried for murder when she was really guilty. Jack re-plays the staged crime in his head and figures out that he was set up and the rape was staged. Lisa sets out to climb the devils needle. Lawrence Schiller
Lawrence Julian Schiller (born December 28, 1936) is an American photojournalist, film producer, director and screenwriter. Career Schiller was born in 1936 in Brooklyn to Jewish parents and grew up outside of San Diego, California. After attending Pepperdine College in Los Angeles, he worked for ''Life'' magazine, ''Paris Match'', ''The Sunday Times'', ''Time'', ''Newsweek'', ''Stern'', and ''The Saturday Evening Post'' as a freelance photojournalist. He published his first book, ''LSD'', in 1966. Since then Schiller has published 17 books, including W. Eugene Smith's book ''Minamata'' and Norman Mailer's '' Marilyn''. Aaron Eckhart
Aaron Edward Eckhart (born March 12, 1968) is an American actor. Born in Cupertino, California, Eckhart moved to the United Kingdom at an early age. He began his acting career by performing in school plays, before moving to Australia for his high school senior year. He left high school without graduating, but earned a diploma through a professional education course, and then graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Utah, U.S., in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film.
