Dorth (sometimes "Kring van Dorth") is a former municipality in the Netherlands, Dutch province of Gelderland. Gorssel
Gorssel is a village in the municipality of Lochem, province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It is located about 9 km (5.6 mi) southeast of the city centre of Deventer, Overijssel. In 2015, it had a population of 4,043. The microbiologist and botanist Martinus Beijerinck lived in Gorssel for the last part of his life, and died there in 1931. History In 1831, the municipality of Dorth was merged into Gorssel. Gelderland
Gelderland (), also known as Guelders () in English, is a province of the Netherlands, occupying the centre-east of the country. With a total area of of which is water, it is the largest province of the Netherlands by land area, and second by total area.
