Dora Moroni
Dora Moroni (born December 14, 1956) is an Italian singer. Dora Moroni was born in Ravenna. She demonstrated star potential very early in her life: at age 8, in 1964, after having participated in many music and singing contests, she won her first competition, in her home town. In 1974, Moroni participated in a televised music contest, where she met famous Italian personalities, to include TV and radio host Corrado Mantoni, simply known as "Corrado" by his followers. Corrado became an active participant in Dora's career few years later in her life. In 1975, Moroni posed for a variety magazine in Spain, where she had moved months earlier to start her acting career, however, Corrado offered Moroni the opportunity to conduct her very own show from 1976 to 1977. Ravenna
Ravenna ( , , also ; rgn, Ravèna) is the capital city of the Province of Ravenna, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. It was the capital city of the Western Roman Empire from 408 until its collapse in 476. It then served as the capital of the Ostrogothic Kingdom until it was re-conquered in 540 by the Byzantine Empire. Durium was an Italian record label, active from 1935 to 1989. Part of the catalogue and the brand were subsequently taken over by Ricordi, who used it for some reissues. Corrado Mantoni (2 August 1924 – 8 June 1999), known simply as Corrado, was an Italian radio and television host. Biography He was born in Rome, where he followed classic studies and in jurisprudence; before finishing university studies he started to work as radio speaker with EIAR, predecessor of RAI, Italian State Television. He was the first to announce to the Italian public events such as the end of World War II, the birth of the Italian Republic or the death of Trilussa. He also worked as dubber for foreign actors including Jerry Lewis. In 1949, he was chosen by RAI as their first TV host for the Italian first experimental TV broadcasting. In the 1950s he was the foremost radio host in the country, and also took part in numerous movies as himself. Gaetano Cristiano Vincenzo Rossi (born 8 September 1949), best known as Christian, is an Italian singer, mainly successful in the first half of the 1980s. Background Born in Palermo, the son of a policeman and a housewife, at young age Rossi was a football player for Palermo and Mantova F.C., but had to quit for a cardiac arrhythmia. He started his career as a singer in the early 1970s, and got his first hit in 1980, with the song "Daniela" which ranked at the seventh place on the Italian hit parade. Often paired with Julio Iglesias, with whom he shared some authors and a similar style, between 1982 and 1984 Christian had four singles peaking at first place on the Italian hit parade.
