Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club is an Australian soccer Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. The objective of the game is ... club based in Doncaster East, Melbourne. Founded in 1967, the club currently participates in Victorian State League Division 2 South-East, Victorian Churches Football Association divisions and Football Victoria Junior and MiniRoos leagues. The club plays its home games at Anderson Park. Its most successful period was in the 1990s, during which it spent the majority of the decade in Division 1 of the State League. In 1994 the club were crowned champions of Division 1 and subsequently promoted to the Victorian Premier League. Doncaster East
Doncaster East is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 20 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Manningham local government area. Doncaster East recorded a population of 30,926 at the 2021 census. It is located in the hills between the Koonung Creek and the Mullum Mullum Creek.
