Don Tapscott
Don Tapscott (born June 1, 1947) is a Canadian business executive, author, consultant and speaker, who specializes in business strategy, organizational transformation and the role of technology in business and society. He is the CEO of the Tapscott Group and the co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Blockchain Research Institute. He is the former Chancellor of his alma mater Trent University, and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD Business School. Career Tapscott has authored or co-authored sixteen books on the application of technology in business and society. His 2006 book, ''Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything (2006)'', co-authored by Anthony D. 1977 Edmonton Municipal Election
The 1977 municipal election was held October 19, 1977 to elect a mayor and twelve aldermen to sit on Edmonton City Council, nine trustees to sit on the public school board, and seven trustees to sit on the separate school board. This was the first election in which a nine-member public school board was elected instead of the seven member board that had previously existed. It was also the last election to use only four wards; beginning in 1980, two aldermen were elected from each of six wards. Electoral system Mayor was elected through First past the post. John Stephen Stohn (born May 8, 1948) is an American-born Canadian entertainment lawyer and television producer. He is best known for his involvement with the ''Degrassi'' teen drama franchise, particularly as an executive producer on ''Degrassi: The Next Generation''. Until 2018 he was the president of Epitome Pictures Inc., which he and his wife Linda Schuyler founded in 1992 and was sold to DHX Media in 2014.
