Don Paul (linebacker)
Don Paul (March 18, 1925 – November 8, 2014) was a professional American football linebacker who played for the Los Angeles Rams (1948–1955) in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected to three Pro Bowls during his years with the Rams. He was inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986. He was one of only two players to play in six UCLA-USC games during the World War II years. After Paul's football career he joined up with Roy Harlow and established the Rams Horn restaurant. Later he and Harlow teamed up with former LA Ram great Bob Waterfield and The Voice of the Rams Bob Kelley and opened up the Pump Room restaurant. He died after an illness on November 8, 2014. ''The Road to El Dorado'' is a 2000 American animated adventure film produced by DreamWorks Animation and released by DreamWorks Pictures. It was the third animated feature produced by DreamWorks. Don Paul Fowler (21 May 1953 – 15 October 1999) was an English classicist. Life Fowler was from a Birmingham working-class background and went to King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys there. After completing his studies at Christ Church, Oxford, Fowler was first appointed Lecturer in Classics at Magdalen College (1976–77), subsequently Dyson Junior Research Fellow in Greek Culture at Balliol College (1978–80), then, at the early age of 28 years, Fellow and Tutor in Classics at Jesus College, holding simultaneously a University Lecturership in Greek and Latin Literature at Oxford University (1981–99). Endowed with an outgoing temperament, Fowler was connected to numerous classicists in North America and Europe. His command of Italian enabled him to give even extemporized talks in that language. The Viscounts (British Band)
The Viscounts were a British pop group from London, England. Its members had formerly been part of a TV ensemble called Morton Fraser's Harmonica Gang. They quit the group and formed The Viscounts in late April 1958, playing local shows and eventually attracting the attention of manager Larry Parnes. He got them billed at better venues and signed them to Pye Records in 1960. Their cover version of Ray Smith's hit single "Rockin' Little Angel" became a hit in Australia, and their cover of "Shortnin' Bread" hit number 16 in November that year in the UK Singles Chart.The Viscounts ''AllMusic'' In addition to recording rock/pop numbers, they also did some trad jazz, covering Paul Whiteman for a compilation album.
