S Club
S Club 7 were a British pop group from London, created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and consisting of members Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett. The group was formed in 1998 and quickly rose to fame by starring in their own BBC television series, ''Miami 7''. In their five years together, S Club 7 had four UK number-one singles, one UK number-one album, and a string of hits throughout Europe as well as a Top 10 hit on the US Hot 100, with their 2000 single " Never Had a Dream Come True". Sheppard J. "Shep" Solomon (born December 12, 1969 in New York City, New York, United States) is an American songwriter. Biography Solomon attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City. Upon graduation, he formed two bands, which were signed to EMI and SIRE respectively. Sir Henry Binns, KCMG (27 June 1837 – 6 June 1899) was Prime Minister of the Colony of Natal from 5 October 1897 – 8 June 1899. Life Born into a Quaker family (the Binns family) in Sunderland, County Durham on 27 June 1837, he was the eldest son of Henry Binns (a leading member of the Chartist Movement) and Elizabeth Bowron. David Frank (music)
David Martin Frank (born November 13, 1957) is an American music producer, composer, classically trained pianist, and founding member of the 1980s R&B group the System. Yamaha Music calls him "the founding father of electronic R&B." Early life and education Frank grew up in the Boston suburb of Weston, Massachusetts and played classical piano at a recital level from a young age. By fifth grade he had won his first composing competition. In high school, Frank played in rock bands hired for dances and competed, often successfully, in talent shows and battle of the band contests. "Alive" is a song by S Club, released as a single on 18 November 2002. Called a "power-packed dancefloor thriller" in the ''Best'' inlay booklet, the track features strong disco beats and samples. "Alive" was the first single to be released under the S Club name rather than S Club 7, and it was also the first single to be released without Paul Cattermole. "Alive" was the penultimate S Club single and apart from the double A-side " Say Goodbye"/" Love Ain't Gonna Wait for You", was the only track to be released from the fourth album, '' Seeing Double''. The track served as the theme song to their third series, ''Hollywood 7'', in 2001. This track was the last single to feature former band member Paul Cattermole and sparked the last leg of the S Club 7 journey. The song reached 2 on the UK Singles Chart, ranking at No. 70 on the year-end edition.
